NITA E-CLINIC is a digital healthcare platform that connects patients with verified healthcare professionals. Our services include appointment booking, video consultations, voice consultations, live chat with doctors, electronic health records management, digital prescriptions, and home care service coordination.
User Accounts
To access our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Parents or legal guardians may create accounts on behalf of minors for paediatric consultations.
Healthcare Disclaimer
Our platform facilitates connections between patients and healthcare providers. While our doctors are verified professionals, the platform does not replace emergency medical services. In case of a medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.
Consultations and Prescriptions
All medical consultations conducted through our platform are between you and the healthcare provider. Prescriptions issued are at the professional discretion of the consulting doctor and are subject to medical assessment. Some conditions may require in-person examination.
Payments and Refunds
All fees for services are displayed before confirmation. Payments are processed securely through our approved payment partners. Refunds are available for cancelled appointments made within the cancellation window. Completed consultations are non-refundable.
User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform for non-medical or fraudulent purposes
- Harass or abuse healthcare providers or staff
- Share account credentials with others
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Interfere with platform operations
Intellectual Property
All content, designs, logos, and software on NITA E-CLINIC are our intellectual property or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
NITA E-CLINIC provides a technology platform connecting patients with healthcare providers. We are not liable for medical advice given by providers, treatment outcomes, or decisions made based on consultations conducted through our platform.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform. You may also delete your account at any time through your dashboard settings.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the use of our platform will be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
